Day 01: Arrival – Transfer to Kandy
On arrival, transfer to Kandy, the scenic hill capital. En route, visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, home to over 65 elephants including many babies born under a breeding program. Watching them being fed or bathed in the nearby river is a memorable experience. You can also stop at a Spice Garden in Mawanella (optional) to learn about local spices like cinnamon, pepper, and cardamom.
On reaching Kandy, check in to your hotel and start a short city tour covering Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, the Arts and Crafts Centre, Gem Museum and Lapidary, and the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kandyan Cultural Dance Show. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 02: Kandy – Colombo
After breakfast, visit the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, spread over 67 hectares and home to more than 4,000 species of plants and trees. Later, drive to Colombo. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Colombo.
Day 03: Colombo – Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Colombo, the vibrant capital that blends old-world charm with modern life. Visit the Pettah Bazaar, Colombo Museum, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Independence Square, and Galle Face Green. You can also explore shopping malls and local boutiques for souvenirs. Later, transfer to the airport for your departure flight. End of Tour.
