Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in the city centre. After freshening up, proceed for a half-day city tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Visit iconic landmarks including the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, People’s Committee Hall, Independence Palace, and the War Remnants Museum. If time permits, explore Ben Thanh Market or enjoy leisure shopping at your own pace. Check in at the hotel and spend the evening at leisure exploring the vibrant city. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta
After breakfast, set out for an excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War. Continue your journey to My Tho in the Mekong Delta, passing scenic countryside and rice fields. Enjoy a boat trip along the Mekong River with a stop at Thoi Son Island, where you can taste seasonal fruits and experience traditional Vietnamese folk music. Return to Ho Chi Minh City and spend the evening at leisure exploring its lively streets and shopping areas. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang – Hoi An
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to drop off your luggage before heading out for a city tour. Visit the famous Dragon Bridge and Han Bridge, followed by Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the towering Lady Buddha statue offering panoramic views of the coastline. Relax at My Khe Beach before exploring the Marble Mountains, a cluster of limestone hills with caves and temples.
Later, proceed to Cam Thanh Coconut Village and enjoy a unique basket boat ride through the water coconut forest. In the evening, visit the UNESCO-listed town of Hoi An, known for its lantern-lit streets, historic architecture, and charming riverside setting. Return to Da Nang for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Da Nang – Ba Na Hills
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Ba Na Hills. Enjoy a scenic cable car ride to the mountaintop, visiting attractions such as the French Village, Vong Nguyet Hills, and beautiful gardens. Experience the famous Golden Bridge, held by giant stone hands, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Spend time at Fantasy Park, one of Vietnam’s largest indoor entertainment zones. Later, return to Da Nang for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Da Nang – Hanoi
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later, proceed for a half-day city tour, including a visit to Tran Quoc Pagoda and a photo stop outside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Continue to Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy a walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, known for its bustling streets and traditional shops. If time permits, visit the famous Train Street café area. Spend the evening at leisure, with the option to explore the weekend night market. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay Day Cruise
After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its emerald waters and limestone karsts. Upon arrival, board a cruise for a scenic journey through the bay. Visit Surprising Cave and explore Luon Cave by kayak or bamboo boat. Continue to Titov Island, where you can relax on the beach or climb to the top for panoramic views. After the cruise, return to Hanoi in the evening. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Departure
After breakfast, depart for Ninh Binh, often referred to as “Halong Bay on land.” Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, including the temples of the Dinh and Le dynasties. Continue to Tam Coc, where you will enjoy a traditional boat ride through scenic waterways surrounded by limestone karsts, rice fields, and caves.
After the tour, return to Hanoi and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
