Day 1: Guwahati Airport / Guwahati Station – Shillong (4900 Ft / 100 Kms / 04 Hrs)
Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Guwahati Railway Station, you’ll be transferred to Shillong, fondly known as the 'Scotland of the East'. Along the way, immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Umium Lake, nestled amidst verdant hills. Upon arrival in Shillong, check-in and settle into your hotel and prepare for a delightful stay.
Day 2: Shillong - Cherrapunjee (4400 Ft / 65 Kms / 03 Hrs) - Shillong
Wake up to the crisp mountain air and set off for Cherrapunjee, renowned as the wettest place on Earth. Witness the awe-inspiring Nohkalikai Waterfall cascading down majestic cliffs and delve into the mysterious depths of Mawsmai Caves. En route back to Shillong, marvel at the captivating Elephanta Falls and soak in panoramic vistas from Shillong Peak. Return to your hotel in Shillong for a tranquil evening. Day 3: Shillong – Dawki (4906 Ft /100 Kms / 04 Hrs) - Shillong
Embark on an early morning adventure to Dawki, where you'll get a chance to glide along the crystal-clear waters of the river on a boat ride. Afterward, journey to Mawlynnong, acclaimed as "Asia's Cleanest Village", and witness nature's wonders, including the living root bridge and the gravity-defying balancing boulder. Later, return to your hotel for a restful night's sleep. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 4: Shillong – Guwahati (2231 Ft /100 Kms / 04 Hrs)
After a sumptuous breakfast early in the morning, head towards Guwahati, the vibrant capital city of Assam. Upon arrival, delve into the spiritual realm with a visit to the revered Maa Kamakhya Temple, steeped in mythology and history. Explore the mystical ambiance of Navagraha Temple, the serene Umananda Temple, and Balaji Temple. Visit the state Zoo, before returning to your hotel for the night. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 5: Departure
Savour a final delicious breakfast before checking out from your hotel, spend your time at leisure and later, you will be transferred to Guwahati Airport/Station for your onward journey.
