Day 01: Arrival in Leh
Upon arrival in Leh, you’ll be met by our representative who will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel in the heart of the city. The remainder of this day is at leisure, which will help in you acclimatizing (Leh is a high-altitude destination). After noon leave to visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace and later on in the evening you’ll take a walk to a local market. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 02: Visit to Monasteries / Sham Valley
After breakfast, you’ll be visiting the impressive Shey Palace, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. These ancient sites date back to the period of 15th-17th centuries, and are a wonderful example of Buddhist teachings. Here you can admire a collection of statues, frescoes and murals inside the complex, and later on you’ll return to Leh. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 03: Leh - Nubra Valley (120kms)
Enjoy breakfast followed by a trip to the lush Nubra Valley via the Khardungla La pass – the world’s highest motorable road set at 18,380ft. You’ll be stopping at the pass to fully admire the landscape and take some spectacular photos before continuing on to Nubra Valley. By afternoon you’ll arrive in Deskit, the capital of Nubra and the remainder of your day is at leisure to explore Deskit and the Hunder Villages. Dinner and overnight stay in camp at Nubra Valley.
Day 04: Nubra Valley - Leh (120kms)
After breakfast, you’ll make your way back to Leh for dinner and an overnight hotel stay.
Day 05: Leh - Pangong Lake (160kms)
After some breakfast, you’ll depart for Pangong Lake through the scenic 17,330ft Changla Pass – one of the world’s highest motorable roads (this will take around 3-4 hours). The breath-taking Pangong Lake has a prime location on the borders of Tibet and India and is home to lots of migratory and native birdlife. Overnight stay in camp at Pangong Lake.
Day 06: Pangong Lake - Leh (160kms)
After some breakfast you’ll be making your way to Leh for dinner and an overnight hotel stay.
Day 07: Departure – End of Tour
At approx. 06:00am you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
