Embark on the spectacular ‘Adventure of Ladakh’ tour and look forward to exploring colourful towns, witnessing stunning Buddhist stupas and admiring natural beauty in the form of mystical valleys, soaring mountains, lush meadows, picturesque lakes and serene hot springs. This amazing tour covers a visit to an array of monasteries, majestic palaces and sand dunes. You’ll also get an opportunity to enjoy a drive through some of the world’s highest motorable roads, go shopping at authentic markets and spot native wildlife species. Don’t forget to bring a camera on this tour – there will be some epic photo and selfie opportunities!  

Day 1: Arrival in Leh
Meet our representative upon arrival in Leh and check-in at your hotel. Leh is an immense town which boasts lots of natural landscapes, including a backdrop of mighty Himalayan peaks and scenic walking trails. Leh is also home to various palaces, monasteries and centuries-old stupas. After lunch, you’ll drive to the white-domed Shanti Stupa which features several Buddhist relics. Later you’ll visit the magnificent 17th century Leh Palace, which features Tibetan-style architecture. Finally in the evening, you can stroll around some bustling local markets.

Day 2: Tour of Hemis, Thiksey & Shey monastery  
After breakfast, you’ll visit the 17th-century Hemis Monastery, then drive to the Thiksey Monastery which features a gigantic seated Gautam Buddha statue and spectacular views of Indus Valley. This monastery also has an assembly hall which houses thousands of ancient manuscripts. Afterwards, you’ll continue driving through some chortens  to visit Shey Palace & Monastery, a former summer retreat of the King of Ladakh, which features beautiful ornate carvings and frescos.

Day 3: Drive over Khardungla Pass - Nubra Valley & Hundur Sand Dunes (160 km/approx. 5 hours)
You’ll check-out from your hotel after breakfast and drive over  the vibrant Khardungla Pass, one of the world's highest motorable roads offering awe-inspiring views of mountains surrounding the valley. Famous as the gateway to the Nubra and Shyok valleys, the Khardungla Pass offers great selfie-taking opportunities. Later you’ll check-in to your camp site and visit the stunning sand dunes in the Nubra Valley region, where you can spot wildlife including double-humped Bactrian camels.

Day 4: Drive back to Leh through Lakes and Diskit Monastery
After breakfast, you’ll visit  the Diskit monastery, one of the world’s oldest monasteries which boasts a huge 100ft Maitra Buddha statue. Afterwards, you’ll stroll around Diskit village, which has charming local market. Later, you’ll continue on to visit the Samsthaling monastery which is adorned with stunning wall paintings, the Panamik village which is renowned for its hot springs and Yaraptso Lake, which offers spectacular views of the Karakoram Himalayan range. Finally you’ll proceed back to Leh and cross the Khardungla Pass again . Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5:Leh – Drive to Pangong Lake (225 km/approx. 6 hours)
After breakfast, you’ll visit the stunning Pangong Lake, one of the world's highest saltwater lakes where several renowned Indian movies have been shot. En route you’ll drive through the Changla Pass, which is the world’s third highest motorable road. The tranquil Pangong Lake changes its colour from blue to grey during different hours of the day. You can appreciate the pristine landscapes around the lake and enjoy a memorable birdwatching experience. Overnight stay in camps at Pangong Lake.

Day 6: Drive back to Leh
After some breakfast, you’ll drive back to Leh and check-in at  a hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure to relax in the comfort of your accommodation and take advantage of the facilities, or perhaps stroll around the vibrant markets in town to buy some last minute souvenirs or clothes and do some haggling to get a great bargain. Day 7: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, you’ll head back to Leh airport for your departure flight home.

    • Transfers and Sightseeing as per itinerary by non a/c private tourist vehicle using Toyota Innova / Mahindra Xylo.
